Manchester United injury updates

Due to injuries, Manchester United players Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have withdrawn from their most recent national team squad.

Mbeumo will miss Cameroon’s upcoming friendlies against Australia and China “as a precaution” after being substituted in the second half of Friday’s Premier League encounter at Bournemouth.

Sesko, a fellow forward who took Mbeumo’s place in the 2-2 draw at the Vitality Stadium, will miss Slovenia’s matches against Montenegro and Hungary “to ensure that he fully recovers from an issue that United have been carefully managing.” The type of injury has not been disclosed by the club.

After the international break, the Red Devils want to qualify for the Champions League the following season, so they will be hoping that neither setback is significant. After just one defeat since the Englishman took Ruben Amorim’s place in January, Michael Carrick’s team is now third in the Premier League standings.

Red Devils’ Champions League Ambitions Remain Strong

United leads sixth-place Chelsea by seven points after the London team was easily defeated 3-0 by Everton on Saturday. A top-five finish appears likely to be sufficient to secure a spot in Europe’s top competition. United’s next game is scheduled for April 13 at home against Leeds United, which is three weeks away.

After that, they will play Chelsea, Brentford, Liverpool, and Sunderland—all of whom have their own European aspirations—before concluding the season with games against Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

Positive News: Noussair Mazraoui Joins Morocco Squad

Noussair Mazraoui, a defender, has recovered from illness and will join Morocco as they get ready to play Paraguay and Ecuador during the international break. These will be Morocco’s first games since the Confederation of African Football (Caf) controversially declared them the Africa Cup of Nations champions last week.
